Final Project Critique - Alex Uribe

It sounds cliche but rainy days are the most beautiful. Perhaps not beautiful in the way a silky skirt falls on the knee, but beautiful like an empty forest; Peacefully sad and lonely. That's how I feel when I visit metropolitan areas. I am surrounded by people and buildings and cars, yet I feel like the only conscious being in the world. That emotion is one of the best to feel at times, especially when it is raining. The smell of exhaust in the city riddled with sighs brings me a sense of melancholic comfort, especially when the air is damp.
It was the 15th of March and I had planned for good weather, but clouds aren't known for being particularly considerate. However, impoliteness can lead to many unexpected and charming outcomes. I was lucky enough to witness and capture such a turn of events on that particular day in downtown Salt Lake City.
